Harvard College Title IX Chatbot
"Learning design is a practice, one that depends on both deep knowledge about learning and the ability to thoughtfully and effectively apply that knowledge in the design of experiences, interactions, materials, and tools."
For my Program Core Experience (PCE) at Harvard Graduate School of Education, I designed a chatbot for integration on the Harvard College Title IX website. This project aimed to address the bureaucratic barriers that make it difficult for survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) to navigate a university’s support system. The chatbot is responsive to individuals’ needs, guiding students toward the resources that are best suited to their situations. Importantly, this tool does not aim to replace the existing, humanistic coordinators in the Title IX Office.
